On November 6-13, the “Inter-governmental Consultation about the Resolution on Realizing Sustainable Fishery according to the Agreement on Implementing the Provisions concerning the Conservation and Management of Straddling Fish Stocks and Highly Migratory Fish Stocks Specified in the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (December 10, 1982) of 1995 and other related documents”, hosted by the 73rd UNGA, was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. As entrusted by the Fishery Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, professor Tang Yi and associate professor Lv Ming from the College of Marine Culture and Law of SHOU, as members of the Chinese government delegation, attended the Inter-governmental Consultation about the Resolution on Realizing Sustainable Fishery of the 73rd UNGA under the leadership of the delegation sent by the Permanent Mission of China to the UN.
