On June 8, the Press Conference of Hyriopsis cumingii “Shenzi No.1” New Variety Breeding by SHOU and Jinhua Zhexing Pearls Commercial and Trading Co., Ltd. was held in Shuiyang Town, Xuanzhou District, Xuancheng, Anhui Province. Li Jiale, Vice President of SHOU attended the conference.

Also present at the conference were aquaculture household representatives, and pearl aquaculture experts from eight units, including Xiamen University, Nanchang University, Anhui Fishery Technical Extension Center, the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center (FFRC) of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, Southwest University, Anhui Agricultural University, Fuzhou Fisheries Research Institute, and Xuanzhou District Fishery Technical Extension Center. Some teachers and students of the freshwater pearl mussel germplasm resources and innovation team of SHOU also participated in the event.
