On the afternoon of June 6, the 30th Anniversary Symposium for Pelagic Squid Jigging Fishery, jointly organized by China Pelagic Fishery Association and SHOU, was grandly held at meeting room 102 of Tuwen Information Center. Present at the symposium were SHOU President Cheng Yudong; SHOU Vice President Wan Rong; related leaders of China Pelagic Fishery Association; Professors Le Meilong and Zhou Yingqi, former presidents of SHOU; Professor, Wang Yaogeng, former head of the Squid Jigging Technology Team of China Pelagic Fishery Association; leaders ofChina Aquatic Products Zhoushan Marine Fisheries, Zhoushan National Pelagic Fishery Base, Ningtai Pelagic Fishery Co., Ltd., JESSN Marine Equipment Co., Ltd., and other companies; responsible persons of the Office of Science and Technology, the Propaganda Department, the Editorial Department and other related functional departments; and teacher and student representatives of the College of Marine Science.
