On the morning of June 14, AIEN Institute grandly held its 2019 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony at the Lecture Hall of Student Activity Center.

At 10:00, two flag-bearers holding the school flags of SHOU and the University of Tasmania led the honor guards of the two universities slowly onto the venue, and were welcomed by warm applause. The ceremony formally kicked off in the solemn national anthems of the two countries.

Present at the graduation ceremony were Secretary of SHOU CPC Committee Wu Jiamin; SHOU President Cheng Yudong; SHOU Vice President Wan Rong; Harvey Gibson, Vice Chairman of the School Council, and Natalie Brown, Chairman of the Academic Board of the University of Tasmania; Luo Rukun, Director of the Students’ Affairs Department; Sun Lishi, Deputy Director of the Teaching Affairs Department; Wang Jizu, Dean of AIEN Institute; Yang Yanyan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of SHOU; Wang Na, Deputy Dean; Brian Yates, Director of the School of Science and Technology of the University of Tasmania; Stuart Crispin, Dean of the College of Business & Economics; Robert Wilson, Executive Director of the International Department; Dean Steel, Degree Coordinator of the College of Technological and Environmental Design, the School of Science and Technology; and more than 300 graduates and parents. Wu Jiannong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of SHOU, presided the ceremony.
