On the afternoon of July 2, Eden Y Woon, Chairman of Asian Institute of Technology, visited SHOU, and engaged in a meeting with SHOU President Cheng Yudong, and responsible persons and professors of the International Exchange Office, the Office of Science and Technology, the Graduate School, and the College of Fisheries and Life Science.

Since the signing of a formal cooperation agreement in 2011, the two universities have engaged in various forms of academic exchanges at both teacher and student levels. In addition, the aquaculture-related professional summer training projects conducted by SHOU at Asian Institute of Technology since 2013 have made numerous achievements.

The two sides have also signed three friendly cooperation agreements regarding accelerated degree program (3.5+1.5), overseas practice, and joint international conference, which will provide guarantee for exchange and cooperation between the two universities.
