On November 6, 2019, Marcio Castro De Souza, senior official of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and an alumnus Wang Weiwei, fishery official of FAO, visited SHOU, and the two sides engaged in in-depth talks about the further construction of their cooperation projects. At the symposium held at the meeting room in F12 of the Tuwen Information Center, SHOU Vice President Li Jiale delivered a welcome speech. Also present at the symposium were Yang Zhengyong, Dean of the College of Economics and Management; Chen Tinggui, Deputy Dean of the College of Economics and Management; You Luquan, Dean of the College of International Cultural Exchanges; Zhu Zhanghua, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office; and professor representatives of the College of Economics and Management. The symposium was directed by Hu Qingsong, Deputy Director of the Office of Science and Technology.
