On October 26, the final of the First Shanghai Undergraduate Life Sciences Contest, sponsored by the Ministry of Education's Steering Committee on the Teaching of Biotechnology and Bioengineering Majors in Higher Educational Institutions, the Committee of China Undergraduate Life Sciences Contest, and the Committee of Shanghai Undergraduate Life Sciences Contest, and undertaken by the Teaching Affairs Department, the College of Life Sciences, and the Guanghua College of East China Normal University (ECNU), was held at ECNU Minhang Campus. SHOU sent 11 teams under the leadership of Yang Jinlong, Chen Lijing, Liang Xiao, Li Yifeng, Li Li, Liu Bilin, Zhu Youting, Xu Can, and other academic advisors. They won four first prizes, two second prizes, five third prizes, and an Excellent Organization Award for SHOU.
